Once upon a time, there was trouble in the land of stationery. Each stationery item started boasting about itself.
Rubber started first,
“I am the most important in the life of students. I erase their mistakes and make their work tidy. I have to sacrifice myself with every use. The more the mistakes, the more I am required.”
Scale exclaimed,
“Oh no dear, you forgot that you produce so much dust and make the paper messy. Do you know? I can measure the lines and make them straight.”
Pencil said out loud,
“Oh really? But I am cherished by kids as I am a learning tool for them and improve their writing skills too.”
Sharpener interrupted and said to Pencil,
“You could not go a long way without me, dear.”
Paper was standing in silence and listening to the heated discussion. Then, it spoke softly,
“Peace, peace good fellows! I think I am the most versatile. If I were not here, then you all would be useless.”
Everyone agreed and stood in silence.
Underlying Message of the Story – Everything has its own importance and the value of existence.
