The Haunted House
Three funny yet all the time scared friends gather power to believe that ghosts don’t exist.

Once there was a big house, which people believed was haunted by two ghosts. They never let anyone stay at the house for long. One night, a robber landed at the house. ‘I should spend the night here,’ he thought and went inside. Once inside, he walked towards the refrigerator to find something to eat.
Suddenly, he heard footsteps as if someone was walking on the floor above. What is this sound? he wondered. He was alarmed and went upstairs to check if someone else was in the house. But when he reached, he found nobody. ‘Strange! What was making the sound then?’ He returned downstairs and made himself comfortable on a couch. Just then, the candle stand began to move on its own and rose in the air.
The robber was aghast to see the candle stand floating. He screamed and ran out of the house at top speed.
A few days later, a married couple was passing by the same house. ‘Oh, what a lovely house!’ They decided to buy it. That night, the husband was watching TV, sitting on the same couch where the robber had sat. Suddenly, the lights went off.
He started looking for a matchbox when, out of nowhere, a woman handed him one. ‘Thanks,’ he said, thinking it was his wife. But when he entered the room, he saw his wife sleeping. The next morning, he narrated the entire incident to his wife.
At the breakfast table, suddenly, spoons and forks started to dance in the air. This was the last straw for the couple. They packed their bags and hurriedly ran out of the house.
Even the old caretaker packed his bag, but just as he was about to leave, two ghosts appeared before him. “We will never haunt this house again,” said the ghosts. Since then, the old caretaker became the owner of that house.
